The iPad is the fastest selling technology EVER, according to seven.co.uk , with 15 million devices sold in 11 months!

According to a report by Morgan Stanley analyst, Katy Huberty, the iPad will be the worlds most popular device. With over 3.3 million iPad’s sold within 3 months of release it is hard to argue this!

According to Forrester’s Consumer Technology survey ::
[1] awareness of the iPad is extremely high
[2] almost 10 million US consumers either own or intend to buy the iPad

We want news, films and social media available immediately – whether we’re on a train, plane, at work, at the beach, or even in the bedroom!

So, here are 10 ways the iPad is changing our lives ::

#1 :: the use of desktop PCs is down 35% for iPad owners since they bought the device

#2 :: the use of laptops is also down 39% since owners bought an iPad

#3 :: 87% of iPad owners use the device every day

#4 :: 24% of iPad owners use it more than 2 hours a day

#5 :: 69% of of iPad owners use it in their bedroom!!!!???

#6 :: 42% of owners use the iPad in the kitchen

#7 :: 20% of men even take their favourite toy into the bathroom!!!???!

#8 :: 53%  say they use their iPad mostly for entertainment

#9 :: 84% of iPad owners would use an app from their favourite brands but only if it was free!

#10 :: only 16% of iPad owners have bought a brand app – so beware marketers!

Additional Data ::  Resolve Market Research conducted a study on the impact of the iPad on other media and entertainment devices. According to their results the number 1 reason to purchase an iPad is “its an entertaining and cool device.”
