Meta is getting in on the AI action with “ChatGPT-like” chatbots. They will be deployed on Messenger and WhatsApp, according to reported by Katie Paul in an article for Reuters. The bots will converse using different personas.
Meta based chatbots could change user pictures on Instagram from text prompts, create emojis for messaging and more, according to a Facebook Meta representative.
In addition to the consumer-facing tools, Meta Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg also announced a productivity assistant for employees called Metamate that could answer queries and perform tasks based on information gleaned from internal communication systems.
